Three Sky Digital Channels Select IdeasUnlimited.tv Compliance Recording
Racing UK, Jewellery Channel and Waterfall Studios Install ContentProbe
Three channels on Sky’s digital platform have standardised on IdeasUnlimited.tv for automated compliance recording. Racing UK, the Jewellery Channel and Waterfall Studios installed ContentProbe to retain all transmitted content for 90 days in accordance with Ofcom regulations.
Highflyer Productions, the location and studio production partner for Racing TV and Racing World (Sky EPG 432) uses the dual channel version of ContentProbe to eliminate storage on 270 bulky super-VHS tapes.
Highflyer Productions Mike Pinchin explained: “Without ContentProbe, compliance recording was an unwieldy, repetitive manual task that required constant supervision. Now IdeasUnlimited.tv has reliably automated the process, we no longer require a valuable member of the creative team to monitor compliance recording around the clock, every day of the year.”
At the Jewellery Channel, IdeasUnlimited.tv has supplied a single-channel analogue ContentProbe.
